Amnesia is memory-free shooting line, 328 foot spools. A high visibility butt material that is perfect for nymph, steelhead and salmon leaders. A standard material in the Great Lakes region.

Amnesia fly fishing line is very often used for butt and mid sections in steelhead and salmon leaders but is also useful as a full running/shooting line.

Amnesia in the 10lb and 12lb is gaining popularity in Euro Nymphing as “sighter” material within leader construction.

Fluorocarbon Leader

Our advanced leaders are crafted from 100% fluorocarbon, bringing fast sink ratios, smooth casting, and nearly invisible underwater. Our leader is highly resistant to ultraviolet rays, minimizing sun damage, and is packaged in 55-yard spools.

We make our Snoods or Dropper loops with this material for the mortician rig. If tie your own we love this line. We do understand that it is thin and we use the 30lb for when we are targeting Pompano, sheepshead and other fish that are line shy. The 30lb is thin so you will not fair really well against the toothy fish of the ocean. Large drum are able to be landed with the 30lb but the 40lb is recommended when targeting fish when the blues and spanish are running.
